This room is in our carriage house on the first floor. It features a queen bed, jacuzzi tub and standard shower. In the early 1900's this would have been an adjacent coach house where the horse-drawn carriages and related tack would have been stored for the Brewster family use. In the gilded-age this building would have also been living quarters for some of the stable hands and carriage house staff. Horses would occasionally be kept in this building, but would have most likely been housed on the property in a separate stable.
The Carriage House is positioned on the property, just adjacent to the Main House and features 8 private guestrooms on two floors. Removed from the hustle bustle of the restaurant, this building offers a quieter location. The Carriage House rooms have undergone extensive renovations since their days of housing horse accessories, and now boast modern layouts, furnishings and fixtures.
Room #23 is conveniently on the western side of the first floor. Two large windows overlook the wooded front lawn. While this building cannot accommodate lake views, guests have full access to the property any time. Enjoy a dinner in the restaurant, a cocktail at one of our two bars, a game of bocce or corn hole on our courts, or a quiet night sitting by one of our five lakeside firepits.
All rooms come with Beekman 1802 amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body gel, lotion, make-up removing wipes & soap. Each room is also equipped with an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, cable television, alarm clock, telephone and complimentary wifi internet. Beverages including coffee, tea, and water are available 24 hours per day.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable. Upon your arrival we can arrange for a bottle of wine or champagne to be in the room. Light bites including chocolate covered strawberries and cheese boards are available as well. We also can provide Brewster Inn momentos including branded coffee mugs and wine glasses.
