In an effort to offer you the best dining experience at The Brewster Inn, we have created a list of frequently asked questions.
What is the dress code?
Our atmosphere is warm and sophisticated and to reflect this environment our staff maintain a business casual dress code. As our dinner guests, although no attire is required to dine, we invite you to look your finest and kindly request no hats or athletic attire.
How do I make a reservation?
In order to make a reservation, please call 315.655.9232 or online at Resy.com. We always try to accommodate walk-ins if possible, but we can never guarantee seating without reservations.
Can I request an outside table or a table with a view?
Yes, you can make requests for certain tables. However please understand that a request cannot always be accommodated. Due to the very high demand for window tables, we always have and always will, seat our tables on a ‘first come, first serve basis.’ with a reservation. What that means is we will make sure to seat you at the best available table upon the time of your arrival. All patrons, occasions and celebrations are special at The Brewster Inn. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding any reservation all tables will be seated on these terms. Please enjoy the company you choose to dine with, and we will take care of the rest.
Is The Brewster Inn an appropriate place for children to dine?
Children of all ages are welcome at The Brewster Inn. Please note that children can have a huge effect on other guests’ dining experiences and in turn affect the restaurant environment and disrupt service, which is unsuitable for other guests. Children are the responsibility of their guardians at all times and we respectfully ask that they remain seated while dining.
Can I use my cell phone or tablet while dining?
On behalf of The Brewster Inn and our guests we kindly request that diners do not use cell phones in our dining rooms aside from taking photos.
Can the The Brewster Inn accommodate dietary restrictions?
As our menu may not directly show it, we are a gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurant. Each of our plates are composed from scratch which allows us to be flexible and creative whenever it comes to modifying plates to best suit the needs of our diners. While we are stringent with precautions taken, we are unable to give 100% assurance that all of our preparations are free from cross contamination. If possible, before you arrive please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. Your server will speak with chef to ensure your meal is prepared to your liking.
Does The Brewster Inn have a ‘Happy Hour’?
As we are not currently offering any “happy hour” services. We do encourage guests to come enjoy our freshly updated lounge and bar area for a la carte service. This area is seated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, beginning at 5pm daily. We take reservations daily for full dinner service only. Weather permitting, we seat our reservations tables throughout the entire restaurant, including our covered terrace and open-air patio.
Can I pre-order a bottle of wine to have on our table?
Of course you can! Please contact 315.655.9232 to make arrangements.
Can I order a special bouquet of flowers to have on our table?
As we do not have an “in house” florist. We do recommend contacting Spruce Ridge (315) 655-3500 or Jasmine Rae Floral Design (315) 815-5043 in advance of your reservation to make arrangements.
Can my dog sit with us while we dine?
Sorry, we love animals at The Brewster Inn, but we do NOT allow pets into our restaurant. Service Animals are allowed, but please be prepared for us to ask about their credentials. Also, if there is any indication that an animal is not trained for service, you may be asked to leave.
Can I bring in a cake or bottle of wine to enjoy for dinner?
Yes you may! Please know that cakes are subject to a $2.50 per person charge and all outside bottles of wine are subject to a $25 corkage fee. However on Tuesdays and Wednesdays we waive the corkage fee.
